Palacio de Bellas Artes

Dedicated to Cuban Art, the Palacio de Bellas Artes (Palace of Fine Arts) is home to a Cuban collection spanning the 17th and 19th centuries it has rooms devoted to landscape, religious subjects and the Costumbrismo narrative scenes of Cuban life.  The gallery devoted to the 20th Century Cuban artists is marked by many pieces in the Hyper-realism, the latest generation of Cuban artists whose works’ all reflect the strong symbolic imagery that has been prevalent in recent decades. Many of these artists hang in museums all over the world and are in the collections of the most discerning art collectors in the world.
